Full Time at Waterfront Inn

In the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, the top candidate for this position will assist workers engaged in preparing foods for restaurants. 

Successful candidate will need to perform the essential functions of the job:

· Wash, peel, cut, and seed vegetables and fruits. Clean, cut, and grind meats, poultry, and seafood

· Dip food items in crumbs, flour, and batter to bread them

· Stir and strain soups and sauces

· Weigh and measure designated ingredients

· Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator

· Store food in designed areas

· Clean work areas, equipment and utensils, segregate and remove garbage, and steam clean or hose down trash containers

In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required:

· One month related work experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Must obtain Food Handler’s Certificate

· Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

· Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
