The manager maintains a thorough knowledge of lending programs, CFB policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements, demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics and complying with all Federal and State compliance policies.


Oversee the preparation of document packages for all CFB residential loan closings interfacing with Sales Representatives, title companies, attorneys and borrowers to ensure customer satisfaction.

Troubleshoot conditions on a daily basis for files that are not clear to close. Manage the disbursement of funds to the title company for residential closings.

Maintain continued training with closing personnel as changes with TRID and/or policies occur.

Develop a training plan specific to the new hire. Prepare weekly closing reports and the monthly LDP/GSA report.

Work with the management team as issues arise to resolve them in a timely manner to meet the customers closing date.

Prepare employee performance evaluations prior to their anniversary date and discuss the employee’s development plan for the upcoming year.

Monitor daily reports and distribute workload as needed. Approve payroll through Compass bi-weekly.

As regulatory changes occur and/or policy changes, the closing manager will update the electronic version of the closing manual.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and current mortgage experience. Must have the ability to retain information and pay attention to detail. Must be able to work well under time constraints with a high degree of accuracy.
