Single Copy Merchandiser REQ#4885

Reporting to the Single Copy-Niche Manager, this position is responsible for visiting the Daily Sun’s dealers and rack locations to do recovery of any sell outs and to merchandise our paper by ensuring our displays are presentable with point of purchase materials and signage.

Successful candidate will need to perform the essential functions of the job:

· Travel and conduct inside store visits to all of our dealer locations throughout Lake, Sumter and Marion counties

· Check inventory of papers.  If sold out, restock supply and notify store management of increase.  Also notify Single Copy Manager to make necessary adjustments in system and to make necessary draw increase for future draws

· Ensure nothing is blocking the Daily Sun display signs and logos

· Conduct sold out rack recovery.  Check for sold out racks on Sundays and during the week and re-stock supply as needed.  Report sold out racks to Single Copy Manager with amounts re-stocked

· Check with store manager or personnel to see how delivery and billing is going.  Report any store, billing or rack delivery problems to Single Copy Manager

· Assist Single Copy-Niche Manager with field projects as assigned

In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training

· Must have valid driver’s license with record acceptable to company standards

· Must provide own transportation to job site
