Part Time at The Villages Sales and Marketing

Hosts are not any destination on the path to becoming a Villager, but the helpful “guide” that can quickly and comfortably recognize the unspoken need of each guest. They warmly welcome guests, provide assistance and share helpful information in a friendly and efficient manner. Hosts provide much of the support for the ‘behind the scenes’ effort that makes the customer experience look flawless by helping with the day to day front and back of the house operations. This role participates in a variety of functions which may include making connections with a Sales & Marketing Representative, receiving Lifestyle Preview Plan guests, arranging trolley tours, lifestyle activity and club information, attending to finance appointments or closing needs, assisting in our merchandise stores and many other concierge services.

 

Schedule Requirements:

Sunday-Tuesday and Every Other Wednesday: 3:00 – 9:00 pm 

OR

Thursday- Saturday and Every Other Wednesday: 3:00 – 9:00 pm

 

Education Requirements:

Minimum Requirements: No educational pre-requisite. Must have software computer knowledge to include Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

This position requires strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm for The Villages and all it has to offer, a desire to serve in a customer support role and the ability to problem solve in order to handle a variety of variables. Must be able to confidently and effectively communicate with customers orally, in writing and electronically.  Computer and communication skills needed - along with the ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively. Experience with customer database software preferred.
