The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis / Managed Care Operations will report to the CFO.  He/she will lead all Financial Planning & Analysis activities and will lead the coordination between TVH functional departments and health plan partners.  The Manager will lead the onboarding of new health plan partners into the organization and ensure that functional departments plan and execute for such onboarding.  He/she will also work on special projects as directed by the CEO and CFO.

Essential Roles/Responsibilities as follows:

Lead the coordination of financial and operational metrics for Primary Care and Specialty Care on a monthly basis.

Manage the financial forecasting and annual budget process.

Manage the monthly board package process with guidance from CFO and CEO. 

Serves as the main point of contact between TVH and health plans

Leads the onboarding of new health plans for the organization

Works with functional department leaders to create plans and track progress for such onboarding

Coordinates and lead joint operating committees (“JOCs”) between TVH and health plan partners

Identifies current and future trends in the Medicare Advantage industry and help position TVH to adapt to such trends

Keeps the Executive Team updated on current news in the Medicare Advantage industry

Understands current and future payer requirements and ensure that TVH meets those requirements

Provides oversight for managed care contract performance and compliance with contractual terms and provisions

Assists with negotiations with health plan partners and third party healthcare organizations including SNF, Home Health etc.

Works on special projects for the CEO and CFO

Works on other duties as assigned

In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

MBA is strongly preferred

Minimum five years of supervisory experience

Experience working in a medical group that has taken global risk with a Medicare Advantage health plan

Experience working in a high growth organization
