The primary purpose of the Night Auditor - Guest Service Agent is to greet and serve guests in a professional, hospitable manner. Register guests; provide prompt and courteous service to the guest throughout their stay, resolve guest problems, close guest accounts upon check out, audit and balance reports from the day shifts, verify that all end of day work has been performed, run end of day computer functions so they are complete by the end of shift, and balance cash drawers and record receipts.

Successful candidate will need to perform the essential functions of the job:

We’re looking for a Night Auditor to assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift.

Night Auditor responsibilities include checking in guests, handling their requests, and taking reservations. The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing the revenue and expense transactions, which occurred during the day at the hotel. 

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Check in guests, and answer phones and take reservations

Respond to guest complaints, request and emergencies

Reconcile accounts

Balance cash drawer and log receipts

Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts

Keep accurate financial records and ledgers

Be well groomed and aware of personal hygiene, adhere to dress code policy

Offer courteous and sincere hospitality at all times. Understand what is meant my “good customer service.” Provide uniform, efficient, courteous, high service in a clean and organized environment.

Handles, understands and responds to customer complaints ad needs calmly and advises effectively or seeks assistance from management.
