Job Description:

In the spirit of “Making Dreams Come True” a Digital Marketing Strategist is instrumental in guiding and developing the methodologies needed to create and sustain an unforgettable customer service experience for The Villages in this digital age of marketing and advertising. This position primarily focuses on the on-line user’s interaction; helping to continually enhance The Villages’ lead nourishment programs and relationship-building endeavors. They provide important direction and oversee the implementation of new digital initiatives such as The Villages websites, apps, customer relationship management systems and various online advertising platforms & technologies. From lead acquisition, to calling The Villages ‘home,’ to residents enjoying The Villages lifestyle - a Digital Marketing Strategist applies their creative and innovative strategies to help lead The Villages digital efforts far into the future. This position is an integral part of the marketing team.


Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or five years related digital marketing and/or website management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in marketing, communications, advertising or related fields preferred.


This position requires strong analytical and project management skills, enthusiasm for The Villages and all it has to offer, and demonstrable knowledge with SEO, SEM, CRM software and Content Management Systems (CMS). Experience monitoring and tracking online advertising through tools like Goggle analytics and Goggle AdWords. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, iWork Suite, web design technologies, HTML and fundamentals of SEO (page titles, meta-tags, headers, URL structure, link anchors, as well as search engine ranking algorithms). Must be able to confidently and effectively communicate orally, in writing and electronically.
