In the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, the top candidate for this position will be expected to prepare, season and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food for consumption in eating establishment, along with assisting in other kitchen duties.

Prep Cooks:

High School Diploma/GED.

Wash, peel, cut, and seed vegetables and fruits. Clean, cut, and grind meats, poultry, and seafood.

Dip food items in crumbs, flour, and batter to bread them. Stir and strain soups and sauces.

Weigh and measure designated ingredients. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.

Store food in designed areas. Clean work areas, equipment and utensils, segregate and remove garbage, and steam clean or hose down trash container.

Must be 18 years or older. Must obtain Food Handler’s Certification.

Cooks: 

High School Diploma/GED. 5 years plus line cook experience.

Will read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals.

Must be 18 years or older. Must obtain Food Handler’s Certification.
