Full Time at Citizens First Bank

Performs a variety of clerical duties related to the processing, administration and closing of new and existing commercial loans.

 Essential Roles/Responsibilities as follows:

1. Answers and screens phone calls 2. Coordinates loan closings by working with attorneys on document preparation 3. Creates loan documents for loans not needing an attorney 4. Prepares balancing tickets 5. Orders appraisal, flood determination, tax service & other required services 6. Checks loan file for completeness against checklist 7. Cross-trains and assists in the back up of other department duties 8. Prepares files for imaging 9. Prepares loan disclosure forms for signing 10. Ensures files are in compliance with regulatory requirements 11. Position specific compliance and other trainings as required 12. Other duties as assigned

 In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required:

High school diploma or equivalent and one-two years of experience in an office setting. Must be detailed oriented and able to work under pressure during peak lending periods. Must be proficient in typing, calculator, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, use of fax and copy machines, imaging software and other banking software programs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, penalties, late fees, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and business math. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, financial & legal language and interoffice memos. Ability to write customer correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers, vendors and other employees of the organization. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Preferred: One-two years of experience in commercial processing.
