Part Time at Citizens First Bank in Spanish Springs

From the time the customer enters until the time the customer leaves, the Lobby Host is there to make sure the customer has the most pleasurable experience. Under general supervision, but in harmony with established policies and procedures, controls the entry and exit of authorized customers in the safe deposit area. A lobby host is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, primarily in the lobby area of a branch by keeping lobby traffic flow moving smoothly. This position works one week on and one week off and must be available on a Saturday rotation schedule.

 Essential Roles/Responsibilities as follows:

Provides “Extreme Plus One Customer Service” at the point of entry into the Bank 2. Provide extreme customer service by establishing and developing goodwill, providing services and responding to problems and inquiries by following these steps: seeks out customer, greets with a smile, calls customer by name and demonstrates awareness of account relationships, identifies customer need(s), recognizes, recommends and delivers product(s) or service(s) within own responsibility or refers customers to the appropriate Bank employee for other services whenever necessary, thanks customer for the opportunity to be of service. 3. Handles all incoming phone calls 4. Responsible for all safe deposit functions 5. Acts as second person in conducting branch audits of signature cards, safe deposit boxes and keys, Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders, etc. These duties will be completed before or after lobby hours 6. Responsible for keeping lobby area neat 7. Keeps coffee area neat and supplied with fresh coffee and condiments as needed 8. Makes popcorn and cleans the machine 9. Responsible for all check orders for customers 10. May perform Notary functions as needed 11. Position specific compliance and other trainings as required 12. Other duties as assigned

 In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required:

High school diploma or equivalent required, one year in a customer service/retail environment. Must be able to attend work regularly and on time and perform position requirements with little supervision. Must have the ability to meet and greet internal and external customers in a professional, positive manner, ability to communicate effectively, ability to be flexible by being able to adjust adeptly to changing priorities, ability to function as a member of a team including participating in branch activities and displaying positive behavior. Must be detail oriented, have good general math skills, letter composition and typing skills. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and skilled in using a 10-key calculator and a multi-line phone system.

Preferred: Previous greeting, hosting or reception experience in a banking or related environment. Completed CFT courses in Banking Today
