This position assists with the operations of the Mortgage Department by supporting the Mortgage Lending Manager and the Mortgage Operations Officer. This position maintains a thorough knowledge of lending programs, CFB policies and procedures and regulatory requirements along with complying with all Federal and State compliance policies. This position also provides high-level administrative support requiring considerable initiative, discretion, independent judgement and decision making.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1 Maintains monthly compliance audit files and researches and resolves compliance findings to ensures we maintain compliance with company, agency and investor guideline policy and procedures 2 Researches and determines reasons for loan status to be TBD and Incomplete 3 Responsible for processing various Mortgage reports as needed; daily, weekly, monthly 4 Maintains Exceptions Log (Fair Lending) 5 Maintains and updates production manual 6 Processes/reconciles invoices, expense reports and staff credit card statements and forwards to Mortgage Lending Manager for approval 7 Approves office supply orders for all Mortgage offices and handles service requests and orders as needed 8 Orders business cards, issues keys for all mortgage offices, handles facility requests and submits trouble tickets to IT 9 Oversees Receptionist staff handling day to day scheduling and routine questions 10 Plans and organizes mortgage department social events 11 Manages calendar for Mortgage Lending Manager 12 Manages schedules for holidays, weekends and Trolleys for Loan Officers 13 Verifies, approves and updates payroll and timekeeping system 14 Serves as point of contact for Workers Compensation issues 15 Position specific compliance and other trainings as required 16 Other duties as assigned

 Educational Requirements:

Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent plus two to four years of experience in a Mortgage environment and with high level administrative experience. Must have excellent verbal, written, presentation communication and grammar skills as well as strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact effectively with people and maintain confidentiality. Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to determine priorities and meet deadlines and multi-task to work well without direct supervision and be able to demonstrate initiative. Must be able to rapidly acquire detailed knowledge of department and company policies, practices, operations, and handle moderately complex administrative details. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and able to use business equipment. Preferred: Five years of mortgage administration/operation experience.
