Full Time at The Villages Sales and Marketing in Lake Sumter Landing Street of Dreams

In the spirit of “Making Dreams Come True,” a Design Estimator helps calculate, gather and relay pertinent detailed retail and cost information to the Street of Dreams Home Design Team and affiliated business entities; helping to determine and provide such things as product usage, pricing, and construction specifications within the overall process for customers building their dream home in The Villages. This role helps make product selection recommendations, maintains product descriptions, cost codes, reviews margins and invoices, processes change and work orders in addition to other related job functions and duties. Their wealth of product knowledge, attention to detail, active listening skills, and good question asking abilities allows them to ultimately assist their team members in tailoring the design and build process for future homeowners. This role is the perfect blend of interdepartmental interaction and behind the scenes project management and is an integral part of the Home Design Team.

Educational Requirements:

 Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in luxury home design, home construction, professional sales and/or customer service or related fields preferred. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Must be proficient in the Microsoft family of programs (excel, outlook, etc ) and be able to read a scale to perform various duties and tasks.
