Full Time at Citizens First Bank in Spanish Springs

Acts as the primary calling officer and has loan and deposit growth objectives. Manages and oversees the operation branch office and extends credit to businesses and individuals.

Essential Roles/Responsibilities as follows:

1. Takes applications, underwrites loans within authority and extends credit to businesses and/or individuals through a variety of commercial, installment and/or real estate loans 2. Conducts calls and inquiries with customers regarding account activity as may be requested by other areas of the Bank such as BSA, Compliance and/or Security 3. Follows appropriate Bank procedures for maintaining safekeeping and responsible use of Medallion Signature Guarantee Stamps and documentation 4. Reports any unusual or suspicious customer activity to BSA, Compliance and/or Security 5. Participates in call days for the purpose of expanding business development activities within the area through aggressive marketing involving constant contact with existing and potential customers 6. Represents the Bank in the community by attending Business after Hours, ribbon cuttings for new businesses, etc. 7. Ensures tellers and CSRs represent Citizens First Bank by providing extreme customer service in an efficient and tactful manner. Contact with the public may be either face to face or by telephone 8. Ensures tellers accurately handle the Bank’s cash and maintains security of the working environment while processing deposits and withdrawals for checking and savings accounts, certificates of deposit, loan payments 9. Assists in providing platform services for special existing or prospective customers, assists at time of heavy business, and handles complex customer complaints 10. Exercises executive and administrative control over functions of the office, including implementation of local policy and explanation of company programs, policies and objectives 11. Maintains prescribed security controls to protect the facility against criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure 12. Exercises the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations 13. Position specific compliance and other trainings as required 14. Other duties as assigned

 In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required:

Bachelor degree or applicable job knowledge, three years of experience as a CSR, loan officer and teller in a banking environment and ability to communicate professionally and effectively. Must have supervisory skills, business development skills, good customer relation skills, good general math skills, good letter composition skills, and proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and skilled in using a 10-key calculator. S.A.F.E. registration is required at the time of employment. This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Continual employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.
