at The Villages Entertainment

This paid role will assist in the day-to-day operations of The Villages

 Entertainment Ticket Sales and Customer Relations.

The purpose being to provide genuine customer service, while

 maximizing Patron Education by the means of ticket sales and

 general Entertainment Information.

 

Time Commitment:

· A minimum of 2 shifts a week, or minimum of 12 hours. Full time positions available.

·  Shift opportunities: 8am – 2pm, 8am-3pm, 12pm-6pm. Location Varies.

· Time commitment and availability can be discussed and agreed upon with Director of Ticketing and Customer Relations (moving forward referred to as Director) .

· For certain roles, a regular time commitment is preferred to allow a planned agenda for productive group environments. Agenda delegated by Director and Supervisors.

·  Additional hours are occasionally available upon request with Personnel Lead. These hours include busy in season hours and evening shifts at multiple locations.

Tasks and Activities:

· To assist and serve customers, providing a high standard of customer service. To help promote Gift Cards during holidays and transaction disputes.

· To help with accommodation requests including and not limited to handicap, personal, and professional.

· To assist with the shipping and delivery of tickets, confirmations, gift cards, etc. To be involved in cash handling and accurate operation of the till.

·  To actively sell Entertainment tickets with respect to The Villages Entertainment Ticketing Policy.  To remain up to date and educated on all promotional material and ongoing projects/productions.

· To follow up with the supervisors or admin staff regarding office supplies, ticket stock, and cash denominations of till.

·  To assist in the maintenance of ticket types depending the location and shift. ➢ To assist in the upkeep of Box Office locations, supplies, and property.

· To positively contribute to team members and work environment, including inter and outer department communication.

· To promote the public understanding of The Villages Entertainment ticketing policies and the importance/perks of comprehension.

·  To adhere to all bullying and harassment guidelines, including the confidentiality expected regarding any information not publicly announced.

·  To be prepared to contribute to other departments when responsibilities cross: special events, educational presentations, department meetings, individual evaluations, master classes on software, monthly agenda meetings.

Requirements:

·  Able to consistently apply attention to detail . Enjoys working in a team environment/happy to undertake individual work .

· Enjoys working with the public in individual and group interactions. Possess or would like to develop strong customer care skills .

· The ability to problem solve with resources available. Able to organize and maintain resources that frequently change or expire .

·  Communication Skills . Problem solving in stressful situations; with patrons and team members .

· Security Conscious. Able to maintain confidentiality at all times . Flexibility in hours/shifts and responsibilities .

·  Self-motivated.  Must be reachable by telephone. Must be comfortable with basic computer programs and software.

·  Must be comfortable with office equipment. Must be comfortable with change/growth .

· Must be able/comfortable learning new software with available resources and training.
